Merlin:

Spy AU — Underestimate. Based off of a post casting Arthur, Merlin, Gwen, and Morgana as James Bond-type spies. Arthur hits the floor, and his ears ring as Gwen shoots, one-two-three, and the guard sinks to his knees as blood spatters the concrete.

Ghosts That Bleed. Mergana AU drabble. The sidhe have a trick for whisking the haunted away. 

Legend of Korra:

Miscalculation. Inspired by this post of mine. Implied Makorra.  Bolin’s POV. He hears it before he sees it, the wild cry, and he slams earth up into the jaw of the nearest tank-bearer before whirling. He freezes then, the whole world freezes, even Korra stops moving, and the only thing he knows is that Mako is on the floor, quiet and unmoving and there are Equalists in every direction. 

The Ottoman Empire:

I had a project for school that I had to write a short story for my Islamic Empires class, specifically on daily life in the Ottoman empire. These are the three things I came up with.

Nika, Queen Regnant. The Turks had given her a new name once she’d been brought into Constantinople: Noor, the Arabic word for light.

Clue. Badirah wasn’t quite sure what they were doing, or what she was doing, or whether or not she was doing something wrong. 

The Clayworkers. Kadem gestured towards the clay, eyebrows waggling, and added, “I mean, did it do something to personally offend you, or are you two just not on speaking terms anymore?”
